OMG. It is so fitting that my local news is now advertising a story: "Not your average blonde woman: the peculiar effects that blondes have on men." (quote taken verbatim, thanks to the joys of Tivo)



I HATE THIS EPISODE WITH THE PASSION OF A THOUSAND FIERY SUNS. HATE. HATE SO MUCH. OMG HATE.

ok, Hiro and Angela were cool. But that is it.

Show? You made me hate Mr. Bennet. I would say you made me hate West, but that happened a long time ago. And WTF, now he gets Claire for a prize?

HATE HATE HATE HATE STABBITY HATE HAVE NO MORE WORDS.

Wow -- I haven't watched it yet, and now I'm in no rush....

This, and the broader race and gender critiques, really put an interesting spin on Tim Kring's "we can't please everyone all the time" comment on Jason Mittell's blog here (http://justtv.wordpress.com/2007/11/16/rethinking-heroes-and-mea-culpas/#comment-3792)....

*sigh* Yeah. I mean... I am glad he is listening to fans. But I think what's wrong with Heroes isn't limited to the plot/storyline level, and I wish there were some acknowledgment that the writing team realized the politics of the show are getting skankier by the moment. Then I could at least hope that they might fix it.
