(am putting surnames first because I am stubborn like that and adding in extra vowels because I am too lazy to make macrons)
Seno Alice is a quiet girl with a crush on cute upperclassman Wakamiya Kyou. Her sister Mayura is pretty and vivacious and gets all the attention; Alice generally tends to suffer in silence and isn't quite sure how to speak out. Mayura isn't cruel, just careless and a bit unaware, but I think she means well.
Anyhow, Kyou is in Mayura's archery club, Mayura also has a crush on Kyou, assorted things happen, and Alice finds a rabbit with a strange bracelet. Said rabbit turns up later and proclaims that Alice can be a Lotis Master, who is apparently someone who can do powerful things with words.
Obviously a lot of this is set up for future tension. I think the series could be interesting, what with the emphasis on the power of words and all, but while I'm somewhat interested in the characters, another part of me is fleeing like mad from the impending love triangle of doom (doom, I say!). Sibling love triangles = six billion times worse. Speaking of which, I'm not quite sure why I always use six billion as a good round number, but I do.
So... maybe I will keep reading if future volumes keep showing up at the library, but I don't think I will be rabidly purchasing this one. Clean art though, which is nice.
