Wed, Jul. 21st, 2004 07:45 pmPublic service announcement: Never hit your laptop when you are pissed off, because you will end up breaking the hard drive and losing all your files.
I will also note that this is the third time my hard drive has crashed since I got this laptop (three years ago). The first two times were none of my doing. Luckily, the second time happened recently enough that most of my things are still backed up. I am mostly concerned over losing my lovely Excel database of books I have read this year so far (compiled because I am an anal geek who likes lists), and I had emailed it to the boy a few weeks ago. Mostly I have lost the updates since then.
But crap. This means I have to get a new computer or live with the old, slow laptop. Maybe I'll just survive on the slow laptop.
