Nggggh, no lie: that was hot like burning. (I just read it then-- your reviews encouraged me to have a quick skim-read of the Max/Gina arc.) Oh, Max-- he's the only straight guy in this series who really appeals to me. Although I noticed that Brockmann (perhaps accidentally) downgrades him from half Indian to quarter Indian in Breaking Point, hmpf.
If I pause to think about the politics of this series, my brain explodes-- I just skim, skim, skim.
