People, someone in Taiwan is making a drama out of Hayate the Combat Butler.

This could not be more awesome even if I tried to make it up.

... unless it also included RAISED BY PIGEONS!

(eta: also, despite what the article says, I am fairly sure the drama will be in Mandarin Chinese and the poster also does not seem to know that everything on Taiwan TV is subtitled because of various Chinese dialects.)

(eta2: also also, other Taiwan dramas I've seen with kdrama stars have just dubbed over the voices.)

Of all the manga to be adapted to drama form, I must say this was definitely near the bottom of my to-be-expected list!

I still giggle EVERY TIME I see the phrase ending with, "....the Combat Butler." It will never get old.
