I adored Sand Chronicles so much! It's one of my very favorite series of the last couple of years. I do wish I'd known sooner that the story proper finishes in vol. 8, though. I still enjoyed vol. 9 and am looking forward to 10, but part of me is bitter about not getting two more full volumes of the actual story.
