oyceterI admit that I may have watched basically every single angst-laden scene between Cha Song Joo and Lee Su Hyun two or three times in the past few days.
But! The UST! OMG! They just exchange significant glances questioning each other and then they do that whole not touching thing and clearly neither of them is capable of expressing their feelings on pain of death! And then they not touch some more while exchanging significant glances AND significant words that could be read differently! And then one of them invariably quietly leaves the room!
It is awesome. I love it.

That said...
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!
I thought I was all prepared, because I knew Cha Song Joo was doomed, DOOMED, as soon as she talked about coming back from one of the shootings successfully. And the mention of how the group should take a picture together. They did not, but seriously! If you are in a drama or manga series, never take your picture together! It is a sure sign of DOOM! And Yeo Kyung asked to call her "unni" and Wan said he could not imagine life without her. And OMG the scene between her and Su Hyun when they finally sleep together.
But I had hoped that she would at least make it to the last episode. Sigh. I feel Su Hyun's chance of survival have now gone up, although since I eat up angst with a spoon, I kind of hope he tragically dies as well. That way at least Song Joo will feel less woman-in-refrigerator-y.
In non-Song-Joo related bits, I love Yeo Kyung learning to shoot and arguing with Wan when he wants to make her stop. I am still certain she will not get to inflict the same amount of violence as the guys or Song Joo, but at least there is some nod to her learning to protect herself. And although I rolled my eyes a little at Wan coming to her rescue again, I also like the parallel of his being beat up by Kang Gu for her sake and the mutual hospital visits.
In Ho, I know they have your sister, but BOO! You got my favorite character killed.
I would have been more worried about how little Yeo Kyung there is in this, except clearly I was too caught up either going, "ILU SONG JOO ILU SO MUCH!" or "OMG TEH ANGST" or "DDDDDDDD:"
Also, I swear, every drama I watch attempts to lure the hero or the heroine abroad to further their career or study.
But really, mostly, Cha Song Joo! Lee Su Hyun! How are you both so hot? And the two of you never touch and yet you still set my monitor on fire! My heart, it is still recovering from the Su Hyun gets drunk so he can actually talk about emotions and the kiss scene. As for Song Joo, I am desperately composing Five Things That Never Happened fic in my head.
In conclusion: there is no way I am not requesting this for Yuletide.
