And I just bought Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of Nimh from the library for a buck. Mint condition, yay!

That was one of those books I want and I forgot I wanted. This is why browsing is important. Yes. (even though it drives everyone else around me nuts!)

And I remember that book freaked me out. My dad had to take me to the National Institute of Mental Health to get me to see that it was just fiction.

I think the trip there when I was just a little girl planted the seeds that later got me interested in psychology. I thought it was so cool that it was written the year I was born. It is funny the things that stay with us.
