My internet access has been really spotty of late, and I can't stay on the computer long anyway because of my eyes, so I may be concentrating more on posting and less on commenting and reading for a while.

More on topic: I am not even sure why I am bothering to write this up, since no one will read it for a couple of months anyway. Still!

Wait, so the Ai we've been seeing is purely a product of Sou's imagination? But didn't Ai speak to Mashiro in real life before? Or maybe that was dream-Ai, who is actually Sou? Also, [livejournal.com profile] shewhohashope, you were totally right about Sou being Ai! I love how we always dismiss the craziest speculations as impossible, but only because we didn't think of Ai as a figment of Sou's imagination!

Also, if Ai was a figment of Sou's imagination, I don't get why Ai's death in the dream world parallels the real Ai's death.

I should probably care more about Kurosaki's angst and identity as the black knight, only I don't really. Instead, I want more Kureha! I do love that she's now in armor though. But I wish there had been more about her at home and her issues there.

Hrm. Does Sou have another form in the dream world besides Ai? And the hand hasn't shown up for quite some time...

I will probably have more and better commentary after rereading in English.

I must take a moment here and do the 'ha ha, I KNEW it' dance of joy. *does so* And I adore Mizushiro Setona even more for it.

Though, aren't the only meetings Mashiro has with Ai dream-world ones? I remember one of the reasons I was 99% sure that she wasn't real was that she never interacted with anyone besides Sou in the real world.

I seem to remember Mashiro sees Ai in the real world just once, as she passes by, because she's wearing a different uniform and that startles him.

I should't have read his, but I don't have will power.

OMG. When I started with the series, Ai was my first choice for Suo's form in the dream. I thought she was like a super-ego or something (I thought he was gay and was repressing it, but I don't think that anymore). But I immediately discarded that theory when I saw that Ai was supposedly to be... a real girl. I feel so ingenuous.

And the hand hasn't shown up for quite some time...

But... didn't she 'disappear' from school already? I mean, wasn't it that girl, Momoka, who disappeared due to not going to classes?

Yeah, the hand was already revealed to be someone else.

That's good, I was here thinking that that was revealed to be part of Ichijo's imagination too or something.

Man, I love this series. It always goes places you don't expect, even when you sort of expect it! I was never convinced that Sou was the knight, but Ai???

Can't wait 'til these come out.

Sorry for pouncing your blog with sudden crazy enthusiasm. . . I've been reading it for a while--came in when you were discussing the crack that was Godchild.

you were totally right about Sou being Ai!

My first reaction: when did I say that? Apparently on the first of May this year, after reading volume 6.

I looked because I'm weak, but I'm now even more excited. Is it August yet?
