  I can't give any, since I still need to read Heyer myself, but I figure a lot of you will know.


• From LifeHacker.com, everystockphoto, a site with a ton of free photos (check individual photos for licenses).


• The best Flickr pool ever. It makes me horrifically homesick and hungry.


• Daisy Hernández's Becoming a Black Man, on sexism, racism, and transgender people.


• Denshi Jisho, a cool online Japanese dictionary that integrates searches in romaji with kanji searches.

Thanks so much for the link to the Japanese dictionary! My previous strategy for dealing with unfamiliar kanji (i.e. most of them) that I encountered online was to search for them in Wikipedia, which works to an extent, but not nearly as well as this.

Ohh, I didn't think about trying Wikipedia! I used to use Jim Breem's, but found it a bit annoying. I also finally found my own denshi jisho again, so will hopefully use that more, but I'm still happy a good online dictionary exists.
