Um... I think I might be a Lucrezia/Chiaro shipper. But they are so cute! And totally bond over their mutual love of Cesare!
Also, Moth Man has now been revealed to be Niccolo Machiavelli! I mean, I knew this because Mely told me, but it still did not stop me from cackling insanely! Because it is Machivelli the Moth Man!
We have just had Sancia sleeping with Cesare and his brother Juan in an attempt to make Cesare jealous; Lucrezia hiding out in a nunnery; Chiaro blamed for various murders because even though he is an assassin he is still one of the purest people in the series!; Lucrezia protecting Chiaro and falling in love with him despite her burning, forbidden passion for her brother; Cesare slowly turning into a demon because only Chiaro can hold his demonic side back!; Cesare GROWING CRYSTAL WINGS OF EVIL!; Cesare killing his own brother and moping in despair; and did I mention the CRYSTAL WINGS OF EVIL?!
Bwahahaha! I laughed so hard when he had to break them off himself! So awesome! I love this series so much!
Oh! And Chiaro and Volpe fight over Cesare's soul in a way! Chiaro tries to kill Cesare so Cesare can die a man and not a demon! But he cannot strike! And then Cesare grows his crystal wings of evil!
I now want to see what happens with Alfonso, given that he and Lucrezia are going to get married (is that a spoiler if it's history?).
OMG. It took a while for me to warm to this series, but now it is pure awesome!
Now I am pissed off at myself for accidentally returning vols. 7 and 8 to the library before reading them. Nooooo! Must have more Borgia crack now now now!
