Heroes 2x03 Kindred, first five minutes

I haven't seen the rest of the episode yet because I was too pissed off so please don't spoil me!

WTF HOW IS DL DEAD?! Sylar survives a freaking sword through him and DL wanders around an episode bleeding and then somehow dies?

Am hoping this is a trick.

Seriously though. WTF show?!

I KNOW. This season has had waaaaay too much that happened in between last season and this one, and this is ... well, too much on top of too much. You cannot kill DL offscreen. You just can't. But on the other hand, something about what Niki said - I can't remember if it was immediately or later, so I won't say more - made me feel like something wacky was afoot. But I dunno. Fie.

But regardless, I wasn't in love with the episode. Sigh.

You know, I think Heroes is turning into a case of "I am going to give it a pass and let all you guinea pigs trusted friends tell me, at the end of S2, if it's worth bothering picking up DVDs of.

I definitely didn't love last night's episode and it all started with that scene.

If it continues at this rate, Heroes is going to be the first show I drop this season.

I'm hoping the DL death is a fakeout (they didn't do much with the character, but I *liked* him).

There were some really skeevy moments in this episode, and a lot more that bored me to the point of anger. I'm willing to believe that they'll pull something worthwhile out of the current plotlines, but waiting for the payout is downright *painful.*
