I was afraid to click, but surprisingly the conversation is interesting. I actually didn't feel the need to add anything. It's good to see so many of my fellow Jewish fen talking about this skillfully, recounting experiences that while they aren't exactly the same as mine, are really validating for me to see in such quantity.

It has been pretty interesting and nuanced! I'm really glad that it seems like fandom is tackling more and more of these issues.
