Um, totally off-topic and this is probably not polite, but: is coffeeandink okay? I've been away from my flist for about two weeks, aside from a few glances at some metafandom posts and a few individual journals.

Is everything all right? I mean, she doesn't know me and you don't know me and I don't know you, etc., but I really admire and respect you both. And you guys know each other (I think??), so I figured you might know...?

I was afraid to click, but surprisingly the conversation is interesting. I actually didn't feel the need to add anything. It's good to see so many of my fellow Jewish fen talking about this skillfully, recounting experiences that while they aren't exactly the same as mine, are really validating for me to see in such quantity.
