So, um, I read vols. 16-18 so long ago that I don't even remember what happens in them anymore. I mean, my booklog says I read them back in 2005. I am a little embarrassed.
Needless to say, this write-up will be rather brief and vague.
So the last thing I remember is stuff about Arima's dad, and I'm pretty sure all that stuff about Arima's mom happened earlier than 16. If not... oops?
I am glad that Arima's dad shows up and that they reconcile, and I really like Arima's dad reconciling with his brother, because I am a fan of non-toxic sibling relationships.
On the other hand, I am getting a wee bit sick of manga bishounen and their traumatic childhoods of DOOM, and I liked Yukino a whole lot better when she was crazier and less shoujo.
And the thing with Yukino being pregnant? GAAAAAAH MY EYES! Why?! Why?! And why are they getting married? Why?! I need more shoujo series that end with the teenaged, high-school couple realizing that many high-school relationships do not make it past college! I know, it is more depressing and less romantic, but honestly, having the heroine and the hero get married right after graduating from high school just makes me think that five years down the line, they will be completely miserable and end up divorcing anyway.
GAAAAAH.
GAAAAAH.
And why must Yukino decide not to go to school? Why? I liked her because she was ambitious! Thankfully, she does think about it a little and get a bit of her competitive streak back, but still.
GAAAAAH.
