You know, I once seriously considered cataloging all my books, but I couldn't decide whether to go LOC or Dewey - that's only half a joke, btw. (The fact that too many of mine are "Q" size also threw a spanner in the works.)
I can't remember why. It's on the list of things to read, but just not at the very top...
Will it move it up a bit if I tell you that (if you didn't guess it from my accidental semi-spoiler) a) I am a major Tharkay fangirl, and b) Tharkay is the stuck-between-worlds son of an English officer and a Nepali woman, and he is seriously dashingraffish spends a great deal of the book making Lawrence very, very uncomfortable? And I can't tell you anything else without spoiling plot elements bigtime, but -- oh boy! (and true wuxia manpain - he needs consoling, I'd volunteer!)
And woohoo, when he [spoiler redacted] at the end! He almost displaces Nemo, 'cept I've been a fangirl of the dark Captain since I was eight, so that shrine will always have the biggest candles. But, yeah, Tharkay, wow.
