Heroes 1x12 Godsend
Mon, Jan. 22nd, 2007 10:32 pmNew Heroes! EEEEEEEE!
Oh, I missed this show so much! True, the voiceovers are still awful (snowflake chains? Or what was that, Mohinder?), but there are just so many great squee moments.
Is Invisible Man the same guy as Radioactive Man? I can't remember. And was he the one trying to make his hands glow earlier? He seems very dangerous and I suspect he is Sylar or has Sylar's powers or something freaky like that.
And oh, Niki. This just can't be good. I'm really wondering when they're going to reveal her power, as dissociative personality disorder is not a superpower. Maybe Niki has no power at all, and it was Jessica with the power to project her personality into someone else. No clue, really.
Also, EEEEE! Petrelli brothers! I can't believe I thought you were boring before! I love Nathan to bits and pieces, particularly when he asserts that he won't leave Peter. And I think I squealed out loud when Nathan popped out from behind the picture to see Hiro! I had totally forgotten that they had met and that Hiro and Ando were staying with Isaac. But oh, I love how all the pieces are coming together, Nathan and Simone's Linderman connections, Hiro and Ando, Simone finally believing Isaac when she saw Hiro in the comic book.
I could not love Hiro any more: "I guess I'll take this back.." and "Just like me! Only my face is not so round" and the mini-swoosh he shows Nathan when Nathan asks him to keep it down.
Mohinder, yay! He gets something to do! Well, sort of. But still, it's better than angsting about his father, and I'm really glad he got to find out about Eden. And oooo, I'm very looking forward to him working with Mr. Bennet. I also liked that he did go to the police and they did eventually believe him and not suspect him. Also, yay POC cop.
Speaking of the Bennets... Claire! Much Claire love! I'm hoping that Claire and the Haitian will end up being a duo to be feared, and I like that the Haitian is trying to comfort her as much as he can, and that she doesn't seem to be afraid of him. Also, good for not forgetting "save the cheerleader, save the world." And oh, Zach. I hope you remember, I really do. And good for Claire for stepping out and trying to keep things going with him; one of my favorite things about this show is how often the characters go and try to do things about their situation and change things.
Alas, Matt seems to have returned to his wife, which was not completely boring, but I will miss Audrey. Hopefully she'll be back soon.
And I want to know what's up with Sylar and why there are bugs everywhere. Ew.
Still not that many active women around, though I'm hoping Simone will get more to do with the Linderman thing and we'll get a Big Reveal with regard to Niki and Jessica. Claire is cool, as always. Janice still annoys me somewhat, and I'm hoping she'll believe Matt about his psychicness, just because it is annoying when he is not believed (also, it's getting sort of old).

Hee. So true.
And yes! Hiro's mini-swoosh was made of adorable. I'm so glad the show's back.

Tue, Jan. 23rd, 2007 10:38 pm (UTC)Isn't her power super-human strength? She carves people like a butcher, and broke that police officer's nightstick in half. I think she only has it when she's Jessica, though.
