Right now, the pesto for the pasta has been made, cheesecake is baking, and the salad sans avocado has been assembled. Four people coming over plus me and the sister, and I think there's enough! There will be jonquil's raspberry jam and giandula and manchego and brie to go with the bread for appetizers, and all sounds well.

I think I'm going to rest and look for figure skating on tv.

I've been meaning to email or call or something because I am in town! I'd love to try to sneak away from the fam and see you if possible, though you know how meeting up in ca tends to go.

Yes, I would love to see you!! I think Wed. is particularly good, as the sister may be off elsewhere, but really, any time would be lovely! And if you can come up here, I will sic the rats on you!
