(it is possible that I am procrastinating but I will never admit it)
11. I shouldn't have liked you. People warned me about you and told me exactly what your flaws were; they were things that should have driven me crazy. But I love how insane you are, I love your energy and your verve, and even though I may complain at times about your politics, I'm not as annoyed as most because you make me laugh so hard.
12. One of my friends introduced me to you, and I nodded as my eyes glazed over. You didn't seem to be the type of person I'd want to hang out with, but then, more and more of my friends started talking about you, and I waded in, ignoring all your upfront flaws as I was told to. You're not that pretty, but you have such heart, and you keep improving yourself and making me care more.
13. I knew I should have gotten together with you earlier! Just like everyone told me, you were fun and different and really smart under the pink, but you show your smarts through your enthusiasm and your enjoyment, so you make me feel welcome, not intimidated. You reminded me that I still miss things from childhood, though I thought I had long forgotten them. Also, you're just so cute!
14. I always feel embarrassed when I tell people I never clicked with you and ended up breaking it off before too long. I wasn't put off by the quirks that most people thought were strange, and yet... Maybe I felt intimidated because everyone loved you so much.
15. This is unfair, because it feels like addressing letters to someone's distant ancestor. But I think you are your own separate person, and I love seeing the family resemblence, how things have changed and how things haven't. I always have a hard time deciding if I love you or your relative more, but you've got that air of resignation and destiny and fate about you that keeps the balance tilted in your favor.
16. You are so insane. SO INSANE. But I love you because of it! I can't even say anything about you because you are SO INSANE!
