Argh! Another cliffhanger ending!

That was a pretty awesome ending though. Hiro! From the future! He is like Kyle Reese! And he's all army-like!

I continue to adore the Hiro&Ando scenes, particularly the one in which Ando says, "In five weeks you will die and New York will explode" in English. He must have learned English watching cartoons or reading comics or something! I am also surprised that Hiro cannot say that in English, given that the first thing I ever learned in Japanese was "I will kill you" and "I am the death god" thanks to the wonders of anime.

At least we finally get to see evil!Niki, though I'm still confused as to what her power is. As so many people have already said, MPD is not a superpower. And I actually liked Nathan for about two seconds. But she is a tool of Sylar or whatever that strange symbol is.

I wish Simone and Isaac had more to do.

Claire's story sort of annoys me so far, given the whole rape thing. I wish at least one of the women characters would manage to get a storyline that doesn't have to do with sex. I mean, we're only in episode three too!

But I continue to like Claire.

And Hiro! Eeeeee!

Was that a sword that Future!Hiro had slung across his back? I think it was! Wow! And again, wow! Also, the scene where he stopped time with that adorable scrunchy-face, then helpfully replaced the spilling martini, then ate the olive was one of the best bits of physical comedy I've seen in ages.

I bet he has a few English phrases. "Let's get out of here" is probably the English equivalent of "I will kill you." Maybe also "With great power has great responsibility.

I think Niki's super power is strength, but only when her evil personality has taken over. She still bores me. The scene when she and boring evil flying congressman were together was like a sinkhole of boredom.

I know what you mean about Claire. But I still cheered when she started gunning the car.

I have no idea! I was too busy squeeing, despite the small facial hair, because he was in black and leather and had a ponytail (I think). Clearly he is a ninja from some hidden clan that practises only among salarymen.

I totally forgot to mention the stopping time in a casino to right the martini, which was one of the best things ever.

I adore Claire. I am just sad that her plotline isn't so great, though I am really freaking excited about "Save the cheerleader, save the world." I am hoping that means she is big superhero and that she will get to do a lot of cool stuff, as opposed to being passively saved. I really love the actress too -- the scene with her crying on the stairs was great.

Wasn't it in rachelmanija's LJ a short while back when someone riffed on ninja salarymen, and how s/he could see them sitting around in a business meeting until someone puts up a Powerpoint slide that says "I will kill you all" or something?

And you just know that future!Hiro's dressed all in black leather with a ponytail because he *thinks* it's cool, not because he *is* cool, which just makes him that much more adorable. XD

:D I was paying attention only because last night I was spoiled - well, inasmuch as you can be spoiled for Roman history - for episode 5 of Rome, which I havne't seen yet, because the poster accidentally numbered it wrong.

Well, it confused more than spoiled me, because I was thinking that man, I'd certainly read the political maneuvering wrong in that one, until I figured out it was for the next ep. XD

I totally had a confusing experience like that with Planet Ladder, when the character overview for vol. 2 swaps Seeu and Idou's names and character descriptions.

Yes, it was! I thought that was hilarious. It was in the comments of the ridiculous ninja book post.

I also enjoyed the way that the Las Vegas guys who punched out Hiro were so exactly the sort of Americans who appear in manga: trigger-happy thugs in cowboy hats.

Also, I just love that Hiro gets punched out after Ando attempting to exaggerate. And on a tiny note, I bet Ando's actor is glad he finally gets to speak English again!

I actually went looking for a photo of white eyes Isaac just so I could coax someone into making me an icon of it reading "Byakugan!" But alas, I could not find one.

And yes. Hiro is dressed like that because *that* is how a superhero dresses in his mind. My first thought, after "OMG, is that HIRO?!", was "Yay, Hiro got the costume he wanted so much! :D"

Well, Hiro *did* know "Let it ride!", even though he said it in such a thick accent it was almost impossible to decipher. >XD

And I want someone to punch out boring evil flying congressman just because he is boring and an ass. Then I want Ando to hook up with Niki just because he likes her and I like Ando. It can be a one night stand, that's fine. >XD
