2x11 Donut Run

Whoa! I thought this was going to be an awful episode because the summary in no way made it sound good. I mean, Duncan running off with Meg's baby? Melodrama galore!

And yet...

I was completely fooled by Duncan and Veronica's act as well. I do love that she puts on emo music and whatnot, though!

And oh, I loved Lucy Lawless' FBI agent, and I even felt sorry for Lamb!

Also, I continue to adore Keith and his relationship with his daughter. I love that he can tell her he's lost trust in her while emphasizing that he still loves her, and I love that he doesn't hold a grudge against her for that, even though he is sorely disappointed and afraid.

And Wallace! Wallace dragging Veronica out! I adore the Wallace-Veronica friendship so very much!

Soooo... who was the blonde lady in the car in the end? I almost thought it was a Meg-death-fakeout, but then, that's because I have an awful memory for faces.

And how's Duncan going to keep being in the show, now that he's a fugitive in Mexico?

2x12

Logan and Weevil tension! Logan and Weevil teamwork! Poor Weevil got kicked out by his gang!

Alas, I have no intelligent commentary of the series and mostly emotional reactions.

I still dislike Jackie, even though she helped out Veronica and Wallace. And I love the fact that Wallace is a popular guy at school and very obviously has a life outside of Veronica, despite his sidekick-ness. Yay Wallace! And it looks like he got along peachily with his dad, so now I'm wondering when Alicia will come back into the picture and what will happen on that end.

But mostly... poor Weevil! What will happen to him now?

And yay for Keith keeping Veronica in the bus investigation in spite of the events of the previous episode.

The blonde lady was Celeste's twenty-five-year-old assistant whom Veronica assumed was Celeste's daughter (the "prom baby" in My Mother, the Fiend.

And FYI, last night's ep was called Harold and Wallace Go to White Castle.
