Not dead yet!

And finally I manage to find an internet connection! For half an hour of course... but tomorrow I fly back to Taiwan, so I will be permanently welded to my computer again, thank god. I'm so addicted to the internet.

Anyway, the adventure in Bay Area continues... I have now bought some furniture for my apartment, gotten a new bank account all settled, a new cell phone number, insurance policies, and a new car (yikes!). It's quite scary, me having a car. I probably have maybe a whole week's worth of actual driving experience, since no one really drives back in college. Having a car makes me very nervous, because I'm pretty sure I'll end up severely injuring or killing either myself and/or some other poor person elsewhere.

Missing college and my life there has started to kick in again. Mostly still though I feel like I'm on vacation, although that's because I'm desperately not trying to think of actually living in California by myself and having to do everything all over again. So all I'm really thinking about so far is how to decorate my apartment, because I like doing that. And I will think about all the interesting places me and the boy can go.

A more thorough update coming soon when I am not stealing other people's computers. And many apologies for entries uncommented and unread!
