Not enough, probably. The one I have on my counter now is just out in the air; whether it's ripe or not I'll probably eat it today. I like to believe that my problems are all a factor not of my ignorance but of my location -- but then I had the most amazing burstingly saturatedly succulent peaches in Klaipeda, Lithuania of all places the other month, so I think my disappointments may arise from where and when and how I buy them.
