oyceter: Two of my rats in a tissue box (rat)

I need to name my baby rats, so obviously, I create a poll!

Pictures and descriptions of the ratties

The sweet brown baby is turning out to have more spine than expected; he tried beating up Fool-rat a couple of times as well. Luckily, this morning, they all seemed to mostly get along, albeit with a few squeaks at times. Being given a nasty bath may have helped.

Also, I've forgotten exactly how hyper baby animals can be. Fool-rat just wants to lie on the sofa and relax, while all three babies are runing around like mad, sniffing and crawling and getting into all sorts of trouble. I already have a ton of scratches from their bitty claws.

[Poll #770599]

Name suggestions don't have to come from anime or manga! Somehow it just worked out that way...

It's so interesting realizing that almost all the trios I can think of are male-male-female, with the exception of Buffy. Huh.

...with one caveat: naming a rat Kyo might give him rather odd species issues.

And Tohru is technically a boy's name, so Tohru-rat doesn't have additional complexes!

I don't know how to decide, because I was going to suggest the Naruto, FMA, and Samurai Champloo trios anyway, but I worried it might give the female-named rat a "Boy Name Sue" complex.

Maybe Ed, Al, and Roy?

The Sue-rat will respond by becoming the most kickass of the three!

If/when I get dual pets of some fuzzy species, I am totally naming them Edo and Aru. (And a kitty named Havoc.)

Top pick: Champloo.

Absolute last choice: Fruits Basket. I don't know why, it seems too simplistic somehow.

My automatic response is "Furuba names!", although I'm also torn about the idea of a rat named Kyo. ^^

When I tried to think of another trio of names, my sleep-muddled brain came up only with Winken, Blinken, and Nod.
