Decisions...

Hrm. So I emailed someone about adopting some baby boy rats, but they said they only have young adult boys instead (5-6 months). Now I'm trying to decide if I should go take a look anyway, especially now that I've just emailed someone else about baby boy rats but haven't gotten word back yet.
I mean, I'm pretty sure that I'll wait and see about the baby ratties, but... I feel so bad about the young adult boys! They must be so sad because mean people like me turn them down!
I suspect I must curb this impulse, lest I end up with about ten ratties.
But... the poor things! Man, going around on Petfinder to see all the little guys up for adoption is so sad. I don't feel bad for the babies, because lots of people want babies, but I feel so bad for the older ratties and the adult ratties who are sitting there and being turned down all the time. Wah!
- I desperately want more rats.
- I don't think I have room for more than four rats (Fool-rat + three babies)
- I want more ratties NOW because Fool-rat looks lonely and I miss my poor Fitz-rat.
- I'm not sure if I can deal with young adult boys, just because rattie lifespans are only 2-3 years or so, and Fool-rat is getting old =( =( =(.
- Sigh
