A little bar on the rat cage broke so that the door now apparently doesn't always stay latched. I walked in this morning to find the door wide open, with the rats thankfully still asleep inside. I walked in a few minutes ago after work to find the door wide open again.

Rats still inside.

Most domesticated rats ever.

Or dorkiest!

Or laziest?

Animals are such creatures of habit sometimes. One of my cats has decided that she cannot possibly eat out of the other cat's bowl (identical to hers, but on the other side of the water bowl), so she meows frantically to be fed in the morning even when there's lots of food left in his bowl. (Which there generally is, because he doesn't eat much and she's a glutton.)
