Packing sucks

Guh. So I have to pack now, because we're going to the Hsinchu apartment tomorrow. Thus, I must bring everything from here to Hsinchu that I want to later bring to California. Convoluted eh? This is one of those times I regret being a complete shopoholic -- the other one being when I see my credit card bills!

I finally picked up my Harry Potter book! And the first person to read it will be one of my friends, who I promised to lend it to. Rather ironic, eh? I also bought About a Boy while I was in the bookstore for the long plane ride... hopefully I'll read that and Goblet of Fire. And then sleep a little. And arrive in Cali at 4 in the afternoon. And then rest a little before beginning the hectic moving in process. Ugh.

Hey, you finally got HP! I heard "About a Boy" is really quite good, though I'll probably never get around to reading it myself. When are you actually moving to San Francisco? (It is SF, isn't it?) Hope you enjoy your new city, I've heard from Masq and others that it's a lovely place, though much colder than you'd expect for a California city! If I were to ever live in the states, San Francisco would be my first choice. Good luck with the move! Is the boy moving there too?

Woohoo to the British edition! Officially flying out on Thursday night here, and getting to Cali Thursday afternoon. I love the time difference there. I'm not actually moving to SF per se... I'll be in Mountain View, which is probably about half an hour or so from SF. It's all about in the same area though. It's also very close to Palo Alto, which will be nice, since the boy will be going to grad school there.

I love Bay Area weather. I swear, I am never living anywhere where it snows ever again.
