So of course I started Mira Grant's Feed, which is one of those "everyone was talking about it when it came out and I am only now getting around to reading it" books.
Oh. Oh, oh, oh. *_* My heart. You're meeting Georgia.
Feed takes a while to click with some people (and of course, doesn't work for everyone, so I have no idea whether it'll wind up working for you). Opinions are all across the board on how each of the books stacks up against the others, and personally I think Feed is my favorite of the trilogy, but some of the things that are a bit weak in it get stronger as it goes.
I'll tell you the same thing I've said to a couple dozen people over the past year, given how hard I rec the series and how excited I get when people read it: if at any time you want to have someone to react at (good or bad), my inbox is always open. (Someone I know on Twitter was emailing me basically twice per CHAPTER when she was listening to Blackout, and it was one of my favorite fangirl weeks ever.) And I've gotten extremely good at discussing it while not spoiling anything past where someone is in the story at any given time. (Soooo much practice.)
(That's not an expectation of email! Just making sure you know. ^^;)
