Because this twenty things that may or may not be about you meme is driving me crazy:

Not to say that it is a bad meme, but I am a paranoid person, and I keep thinking, "Oh no! They're talking about me! I knew I was boring and evil!" or "Oo, am I being complimented? Probably not. Why did I think that; I am so vain!" and it brings out all the paranoia in me.

So.

Twenty things that apply to everyone. Yes, you. Even if you aren't on my FL, even if you don't have an LJ. Because I bet there is someone in your life (if not quite a few someones) who thinks this about you:

1. I wish you weren't so hard on yourself, because you're so brilliant.

2. I have no idea how you do the things you do, but I'm glad that you do.

3. Even though I may not understand your hobby or passion, I love how enthusiastic you are about it.

4. I never thought I would be interested in something like this, but your posts on it have drawn me in.

5. I wish I thought like that.

6. Sometimes your brain processes intimidate me because of the sheer smartness.

7. I wish I could meet you in real life (alternately: I'm so glad we met!).

8. You write well.

9. You make me laugh.

10. I love the way you look at things; you make me pay attention to things I otherwise wouldn't.

11. I wish you would stop feeling guilty about how often and what you post in your LJ. I read you because I want to, and though not all topics may interest me per se, a good percentage do. Plus, for the things that don't interest me, there are probably a good deal of people out there who do enjoy reading about them and are glad that you're posting about them.

12. I don't comment on a lot of posts because I never know what to add to what you say, and so I just stay in my little corner of the internet.

13. Sometimes you scare me in a good way because you are so skilled in all these things I can't do.

14. Take it easy on yourself.

15. Knowing you makes my world that much broader, and I appreciate that.

16. It's your life. I get why you worry about what other people will think or say, because it can hurt, but in the end, I hope you make the choices that are right for you.

17. I don't care how you look or how you think you look. You are smart and nice and a good friend, and that makes you pretty gorgeous to me.

18. I want to see more pictures of things in your life! Non-identifying things, if you are paranoid, but I like seeing what you see, even on a small, pixelated level.

19. Take care of yourself, health-wise and mental-health-wise, because I'm a greedy person and I like having you around and I want you to be ok. Of course, it's ok if you aren't ok in that you shouldn't feel obligated to be shiny and happy all the time and because we all need a good moping sometimes. But mostly, I'm sitting here wishing the best for you.

Yeah, I was sitting there clicking through lists and going, "Oh no, I knew I should cut-tag more! I knew I was boring!" and then "Oh, did they compliment me?" and then "Gah, how I can I be so vain as to think that person would even notice me, much less put me on a list!" and then back to "I knew I was boring!"

This is easily my favorite version of this meme. Not that the other ones bothered me, really, as I always assume that I couldn't possibly be high enough on anyone's radar to be included anyway, but I love your more positive spin on it.
