Merry Christmas everyone!
I am very happy at home, albeit still sick.
Watched ROTK:EE with
fannishly today (SQUEEEE!!!! Eowyn/Faramir scenes! Even though they were too short!). I actually did note things outside of the extra Eowyn scenes, but not much ;). I wanted to be Eowyn when I read LotR for the first time in sixth grade, which sort of explains the obsession.
No presents or anything, given that this is my family and we don't so much do Christmas as not. But, amazingly, my sister and her friend actually put up the Christmas tree just for me! Usually I'm the only person in the house who bothers to put it up because everyone else is too lazy, so it was a nice surprise.
And today was the giant dinner party with assorted old family friends, some of whom I haven't seen for a good year or so, so it was really nice catching up. Unfortunately, I am still sick (it has progressed from stuffy nose to coughing), and now my voice is totally shot because I was talking all night. Right now, I sound like an attractive combination of frog and adolescent boy whose voice is cracking. Tomorrow is yet another ginormous dinner party, another signal that I am home. All social activity revolves around food. At least when my parents are involved. Not that I'm complaining! Anyway, I had a lot of fun giving out my brand spanking new business cards to everyone and gleefully pointing out that the company logo is all nice and raised and stuff. I'm very easily impressed.

Oh my, yes. And I thought Aragorn was a sap for not loving her for ages.
