Whoo!! I guess Hero must have finally hit wide release or something, because it's coming out tomorrow, and I am going to see it on big screen (finally!) on Sunday!

I keep wanting to pimp this movie like mad because it's so gorgeous and I kind of figure less people will see it because hey, foreign film, might not be playing in lots of theaters, etc. But gah, it's so incredibly beautiful. Also, I have a giant girlcrush on Maggie Cheung, who is stunningly wonderful to just look at.

Have I mentioned the prettiness?

I can't wait to see this movie! I never saw it on VCD, I'm sure that my brothers have it at the house somewhere. But this looks to be absolutely something that needs to be seen on a gigantic screen. The bigger the better. I wonder if it'll hit the IMAX screens at Metreon. And hey! You just reminded me to check out where it's playing.

Maggie Cheung is gorgeous and she doesn't seem to be aging.

Maggie Cheung is so gorgeous! I think I sat through most of the movie just ogling at her character, who outshines Zhang Ziyi.

I didn't like it. It was certainly pretty, but the ending was annoying.

I have some quibbles with the historical accuracy of it all, but I still like it despite that.

Though there was a pretty big uproar back in Taiwan about the ending, because of the supposed pro-unification bent.
