Whoa. I just realized Jean Ewing Ross' Illusion makes about ten times more sense now that I've read the Lymond Chronicles.

Hrm, I've only read one Jo Beverley, but it wasn't quite to my taste. I'm starting to see Lymond everywhere now. I also just reread Perilous Gard and am dying to know if Pope was influenced by Dunnett as well. I'm even vaguely seeing it in Brust and Bull's Freedom and Necessity -_-;;.

Ok, good, so I'm not just seeing Dunnett everywhere I look out of sheer paranoia. Er, not sure if "paranoia" is the right word... new awareness? Heightened sensibilities?
