Rats!

I finally got batteries for my digital camera...

Here is a video of the rats dancing ^_^. It's not quite as good as the one time I got them to dance at the same time to the beat, but it gives a general idea.


Fool-rat on my shoulder one of the first days I got him.


Fool-rat (the white and black one) and Fitz-rat (the dark brown one) trying to steal my graham cracker.

Then my camera ran out of batteries (I think there's a problem with the camera, sigh), so I couldn't get any more.

Eeek! So cute! And I love their names, especially how you add -rat to the end of them :) Do you always let them out to play? An old friend of mine used to let her rat run through her clothes (when she wasn't wearing them, I mean) and it was so cute watching the rat poke his head out the bottom of the legs of her jeans.

And yeah, your camera probably has problems if the batteries are running out so quickly. I don't know much about cameras, but that doesn't sound right to me.

They are so adorable!! Even cuter in motion ;). I try to let them out to play every day for an hour or so -- either on the sofa or the table, because I haven't ratproofed the apartment.

It's so funny watching them in the blanket because every so often their little noses stick out to sniff for stuff.

And I mentally kick my stupid camera.
