Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! Or, alternately, happy Constitution Day for people in Taiwan!

Still feeling sick, though sleeping through most of yesterday has helped a lot. The cough is now down to annoying, as is congestion, although the cough still gets worse around when I go to bed. Thanks to everyone for the advice! I think right now I am leaning most toward steam and ginger + honey + lemon, at least when I get the chance to go out for ginger. And apple cider vinegar. Alas, benzazoate is what I took to try to feel better, except I think it doesn't particularly like my sister, since both times I took it, I was up all night coughing dry and unproductive coughs.

My sleep schedule is also completely messed up now, though at least I have two more days to tweak it. Also, I probably could join CB and his family for festivities today, but I think I will rest instead... I suspect part of why the cold has lasted so long is because I keep trying to go back to work as soon as I feel better but before I'm entirely well.

In the meantime, have spent pleasant hours in bed playing the first Phoenix Wright game (thanks to those who recced it! I do indeed enjoy it!) and rereading Teresa Edgerton's Goblin Moon, as I seem to be in the mood for fantasy of manners. Oh Teresa Edgerton, like so many, you really wanted to do a genre version of Lymond, didn't you? Alas, Sera is nowhere near as compelling as Philippa, and I mostly giggled at Francis' addictions, multiple identities, kidnapping, and etc.
