Spoilers still love Haruna
I have to say, the entire plotline with Asaoka is extremely pointless and stupid. He likes Haruna! He doesn't! Wait, now he does! And honestly, who in the world actually does things like make a bet with your supposedly good friend about his girlfriend and then go on to say you never said you liked her anyway?
Grrr. All that said, Yoh in the captain's outfit is awesome, and I am sure that is the entire reason why Kawahara did the sports festival.
Then Yoh meets Haruna's family! Hee! I love all the awkwardness and Yoh attempting to be polite and Haruna being embarrassed by everyone.
The prep school arc with the girl in glasses (I forgot her name and my book is elsewhere and Wiki doesn't have it) was... odd. At first, I was extremely irritated about the ugly girl being socially awkward aand mean and etc. But then Kawahara gave her a somewhat angsty backstory and had us sympathize with her, and I thought, Okay, maybe it won't be that bad. And then she started sabotaging Yoh and Haruna. SIGH.
I love Yoh and Haruna to pieces, especially because they still manage to communicate and forgive each other, but the secondary characters in this series make no sense!
