This is by the mangaka of Chi's Sweet Home, which I have not read. And apparently it's a revival of a series or something, given the "New" in the title and the author's notes.

Fuku is the rather fat and spoiled cat of an old lady who is never named; the entire manga consists of their day-to-day adventures, like Fuku sleeping on the TV, only to discover that it's not on and is cold, or the old lady tempting Fuku with new toys, only to learn that she of course just wants the box or bag the toys came in.

I am not sure there's anything I have to say about this, except that the mangaka has clearly had cats before, and that it made me laugh and laugh at all the silly things cats and their owners do, and that it is cute and happy and round and I am so going to look for the mangaka's other cat manga.

Highly recommended if you like cats.

You should definitely check out Chii's Sweet Home, too. It's hilarious and adorable. All in color, too, which is a rarity for manga.

Chi's Sweet Home is also an anime of such supreme adorableness that laughing and feeling happy is really the only possible reaction (once the first sad bit about poor Chi getting lost is past) - each episode is about three minutes long, and aimed at small children, so nothing really bad ever happens. (I'm rather partial to the Big Cat, who has his own Big and Ponderous theme music).

I like Chii's Sweet Home a lot more than Fuku Fuku Funyan, though I admit it was the original version I read, not the revival. Chii has all the elements of FFF, onyl with a kitten confused by the world instead of an old tom.

Is it mostly wordless or understandable even if you can't read?

Have you seen "She and Her Cat", a short anime done by the guy who did Voices of a Distant Star? A number of versions are on the VoaDS DVD. It's been a while, but I think I like the medium-length ones the best.
