Usually I like Ebert, but, hey, what's with his bitterness about Lord of the Rings? He kept complaining in the first movie that it didn't match with his vision of the books, and now I swear, he sounds like a thoroughly disgruntled fans. Uh... it's going to win just because Hollywood loves big money-making movies? Oooookay. Sure, might be true, but doesn't mean it's not a good movie.
And the Academy shows "great imagination" for nominating Triplets of Belleville? Shyeah right. Maybe they nominated it because there have been enough animated movies released this year in America to be counted on one hand. I'm all for honoring best animated features, but right now it's not really much competition at all.
