Superbowl

So, that was my second Superbowl. Keep in mind that the only things I know about football are: touchdowns good. Something something four downs something something ten something. Supposedly there are good commercials.

I was very bored.

My impressions:
- I'm amused by the fact that this is America's big manly men game, seeing as how two announcer guys had pink and purple ties and everyone on the field was running around in spandex tights.
- perhaps unsurprisingly, I thought the commercials were a little chauvanistic. Although I liked the one about the Budweiser donkey.
- AOL commercials are stupid.
- the half-time show is a lot shorter than I thought... each person only comes on and sings about two lines or something!
- that said, my absolute favorite moment was when Kid Rock stepped on and started singing "Cowboy." I don't really know who Kid Rock is, but Sisabet made a kickass vid on Angel's coolness to Cowboy. So I had a lovely flash of Angel being a pimp during that.

I spent most of the time reading an Entertainment Weekly on the Oscars, the big televised competition that really excites me ^_^

I know! Of course I could not really engage in disparaging comments, considering how enthusiastic the room was. But really, I find almost any sport more interesting and understandable than this, which is saying something!
