Ooooo! That would rock so much! Feel free to laugh at my accent -- I had to look up "miana da" (sp. mya? ) because I kept hearing it as "byana da."
I feel like after learning Chinese, all alphabets and syllabaries make so much sense! Well, there is an alphabet for Chinese that's taught in Taiwan (bopomofo), so that's nice, but yeah. You only get bopomofo on the side of words in kids' books (sort of like furigana). I loved hiragana because there's none of the pronunciation craziness that there is in English, but hangul is even more methodical!
