Well, I finally got around to finishing the ep, and the only reason why I didn't end up throwing something at the screen was because I chose to knit my lace shawl while watching, which means I could half pay attention.

I don't have much to say except ARGH and ARGH and WHY SHOW WHY?

Seriously? West? Seriously? Ew!

Bored by the Peter plot.

Was going to throw something at the screen if Hiro had left. Am still very not happy about Yaeko strolling off with Kensei. Ew. Ew. Ew.

Already posted about DL and how that had better be a red herring.

In conclusion: ARGH WHY SHOW WHY?

You forgot the Candice bit--another dead woman, and of *course* the only reason for her to have fun with her powers/change her appearance is because she's *fat.*

I really wish that they'd killed Peter last season. I've never been fond of him, which colours my perception of his current storyline, but it bores me to the point of frustration. What more can they do with a character as powerful as Peter? He could have taken that box from Irish Gangster in a heartbeat and bypassed the boring robery altogether.

I'm hoping that the Irish gangsters are all part of some elaborate mindfuck.

I would like to go through an entire episode without Maya crying about her powers.

They had better treat DL's mom right, and not kill her off.

West continues to creep me out, and makes me furious (that scene during class? My God, Claire--I don't care if he has powers, he humiliated *and* endangered you. Not good boyfriend material!)

Heh. Seems I'm still angrier with the episode than I realized.

I think that episode singlehandedly made me decide never to drop Heroes this season. I've been stewing all week about it and the irritation isn't going away and getting worse. I might as well stop while I'm ahead.

Sooo boring!

What happened to Yaeko's personality? Do the twins have a personality between them? Why are Claire and Peter both kissing people they have no reason to trust and absolutely no chemistry with? When will something happen that we haven't seen a million times before?

And will I stay tuned to find out the answers to the above?

I thought the scene with him yelling, "Sparks!" without getting anything meant that he couldn't summon up the powers whenever he wanted to, unless he was emotionally ramped up the way he was in 2.02. At least, I think that's what they were going for.

They had better treat DL's mom right, and not kill her off.

I'm actually not even convinced that DL is dead, but time will tell, I guess. It's strange, because he was in the original S2 promo pics, IIRC.

I get your point about Peter, but I'm still very, very unhappy with his storyline. I think that the box moment was emotionally fraught enough for some sort of power flare-up (even if it was a useless power for the situation in question). *shrug.* But as I said, Peter is far from my favourite so I didn't come into this season willing to give his storyline the benefit of the doubt.

I hope that DL's death is a fakeout, but I'm not counting on it one way or another.

Considering how much I liked Heroes last season, I'm willing to wait things out in the hopes that even the squicky elements of this season will gel into something worthwhile.

zomg yes the Candice bit. SO annoyed. So annoyed by so much of the episode. Could not even document all the annoyed-ness for fear I'd throw my remote control at the TV!

Zomg. I have been debating with myself over dropping or not. So far, I think I will see the season through for Hiro and because S1 started out really weak and grew stronger, but... please no more killing of POC!

I am also hoping DL's death is a fakeout, but I keep hoping that for so many of the deaths so I am not sure.

I decided to drop it for now and live vicariously through my flist. Maybe I'll come back to it later in the season but for now, I think I'd like to spend my time doing other things. :/

I'm wondering if (a) Sylar really can't eat other people's brains powers anymore, or (b) Candice's powers don't really 'show' to the person using them, so he can't tell if it's working or not.
