We then ran out of time before we could talk about TCKs in fiction much, alas.
...this would've disappointed me.
And the rude white woman who granted permission for a woman of color (since Arab-Americans have "gained" that status since September 11th) to write about her own people would've just pissed me off, and possibly triggered me to get rude in return. So maybe it's just as well I wasn't there.
