Huh, I am also doing a toe-up Jaywalker!

However, I think (I started it months ago and I've forgotten just how I came up with the version of the pattern I have printed; I'm on the leg of the first one now) that I recalculated and replaced the gusset part of the pattern completely because my gauge and/or foot size was considerably different from the pattern, using this (http://tiajudy.com/soxform.htm) generic form of the toe-up pattern that the toe-up Jaywalker was based on. Maybe it will help you, too?
