I did too. I was pretty amused at the foreword in which Joss was trying not to make one of those action heroines with size DDD breasts and 18 inch waists.
Loo was good. I think that's about all I can say right now without blathering on and on about it!
I loved the car moment! It was such a Joss thing to do that I had to reread it.
I really liked Erin, actually. I also really loved the whole mythology behind Slayerness and the largeness of the universe. That said, I also thought the action in this one went too fast =(. It feels more like the first book in a ten book series than anything else.
I haven't read Fray yet, but I've idly browsed through a few other BtVS/AtS comics, and I particularly remember the one where in the first image Cordy was shown with huge spherical breasts and a nine-inch insectile waist.
Not to mention the one I saw yesterday with Buffy fighting the Master in a minidress and apparently no knickers. And yes, these were professional BtVS/AtS comics rather than fanart ;-)
Yikes! I've never paged through the other comics, with the exception of Tales of the Slayers... generally they remind me too much of the novelizations, which I really dislike.
Maybe the marketers/artists decided that females don't really read comics or something stupid like that...
I think it's more a case of getting artists from the superhero tradition and not keeping a close enough eye on them to stop them from reverting to the worst of that tradition art-wise.

Then he ought to tell people more often...
