Thank god for bittorrent.

GAH! Simone! Noooo!

Well, she was actually pretty boring, but on a political note, I am sad that this episode ups the tally of dead women by two more. At least it added a cool woman hero who is not blonde, not a stripper, and not a cheerleader (not that Claire or Niki have been acting in those roles for a while, but you know). Also, [livejournal.com profile] rachelmanija has mentioned Wireless is Israeli and is therefore a Jewish superhero, to which I say, "AWESOME!"

Peter + Claude is still teh awesome, and Claude is still totally Jiraiya, or a Zen monk training Peter, or both. Also, that scene with Peter flying off with Claude? EEEEE! And Mr. Bennet and the Haitian tracking them via body heat! So cool! And so practical!

Though I am somewhat confused as to why the Haitian's power-dampening abilities didn't work on Peter or Claude. Did he just not have them on or something? Rachel (who is lurking here) suggests that it may be that he has to see them to lock on?

And OMG PETER AND ISAAC ACK SIMONE! I totally did not see that coming. I could have sworn that it would be Matt. And it was great because Peter's not really in the right, and neither is Isaac, and even though the jealousy thing was stupid, preventing someone from blowing up New York is not so much.

Also, does Isaac not remember what happened to him? Or is it just that he didn't have a bad experience? Or maybe he just doesn't remember the injection bit? Hrm. Anyhow, I loved all the paintings of empty spaces that ended up being paintings of Peter being invisible.

And I want to know the Sekrit History of Claude. I hope that's not the last of him, but I'm sort of guessing that it could be.... Rachel doesn't think so, though, so that is good.

Oh! And Claire! Poor, poor Claire! Also, didn't the doctor say that anything would be confidential? That was pretty awful of her to tell Claire's dad, even if she did think Claire was crazy. Particularly if she suspected domestic violence. Though the scene with Claire and her dad was just so great!

I totally believe Mr. Bennet when he talks about wanting to protect his family, and I can tell he loves them so much, and yet, he is still SO WRONG! And Claire! Trying to protect her family!

The Mohinder-Sylar show is most excellent, although I am sad cool hearing woman died, because she was cool and middle-aged and had a favorite wrench and liked her powers. Le sigh. I have to say, I am a bit confused as to why everyone's saying that Mohinder is being stupid. Yeah, he's with Sylar and leading him to victims, but I don't think he knows that Sylar can absorb powers or eats brains. I mean, I will go with Mohinder being clueless if the next person they visit also gets killed by Sylar, but right now, how could he really know anything?

As a matter of fact, I think the stupid award should go to Matt, who not only stole diamonds from a crime scene (I am still baffled -- what did he think he could do with them? He's a cop! He should know that fencing stolen goods isn't that easy), but also continued to take them out every ten minutes and fondle them lovingly. Also, why hide them in a sock drawer? Or give his wife a $40,000 ring and think she wouldn't be suspicious? Of course, the last bit is because he was taken by surprise, but still. Also, Janice should be so pissed off at him right now. Also also, leaving your wife alone in the house with stolen diamonds while joining a radioactive man may not be the best of moves.

Speaking of radioactive man, OMG! The graveyard! The wilting flowers and dying grass! That was so incredibly creepy!

Also, more stupid Matt decisions include deciding to hold up Mr. Bennet at gunpoint. With family around. In broad daylight. At his house. Just... WTF?

Ack! I was so distracted by Matt that I completely forgot about Hiro and Ando! I was so worried that Ando would die! Ando can't die! Also, yay Hiro for getting his powers back! Did he know or didn't he? We couldn't tell if he was lying or not, and he really did seem to be confused.

And ohhhhhh.... no more Hiro-and-Ando show =(. Though somehow I doubt it will be that easy to shake off Ando. I'm very glad Hiro didn't do the trick-Ando-and-sneak-off routine and actually gave his reasons and said goodbye, though I was horribly sad when he told the bus driver he was alone. Rachel says there is a parallel between Peter gaining powers by connecting with people and Hiro losing his powers because he was afraid of losing people and is now starting to doubt his connections with them. Plus, Hiro was able to get his powers back (like Peter) because he was afraid Ando would be killed. Not that Peter was afraid Ando would be killed, but it's the emotional connection that counts! It's every manga ever written! Also, that Hiro and Ando parting scene is totally out of manga! It is to protect Ando!

Oh, also, since we torrented this, was there a preview for the next episode, and if so, does anyone have a direct link?

In conclusion, Matt currently owns the stupid award for the month, Ando must go find Hiro and be a hero (Rachel predicts Ando will meet Hiro back in Vegas or wherever the bus is headed), Wireless is awesome, Claire -- no words, and GACK SIMONE!
