It's amazing how Hachikuro can be very angsty without ever reaching the point that I think of as emo.

And I like how much the friendships remain, despite the focus on the unrequited loves--Morita's support of Yamada, Yamada and Hagu, Takemoto and Mayama, etc.

To end: EEE! Nomiya! I totally squealed over how he went after her, when before he wouldn't even tell her he was leaving for Tottori.
