Minekura Kazuya - Saiyuki Gaiden, ch. 018-020

I thought I could not possibly be more obsessed than, oh say, two hours ago, but then rilina sent me the raws and text of ch. 18-20 of Gaiden and OMG TEH ANGST!

I think the last time I felt like this, I was reading Dunnett.

But. OMG. The cherry blossoms. The pinky fingers. IZ DED. I actually started randomly babbling to fannishly just so I could talk about it.

Seriously! I thought Minekura couldn't possibly hook me in more than she had with Saiyuki, given four broken, angsty individuals with backstories, and then here she comes with Gaiden, and it has past incarnations! And they're doomed! And they band together for Goku's sake, for a small child who's also a terrifying killer! And then GUH Kenren and Tenpou have to go have a conversation under falling sakura, for crying out loud! And oh, I love that it's so sappy and so shoujo, but there are still details like Tenpou not actually fully remembering how they met, and then teasing Kenren about the yakiniku party, and then saying that any memory would be good.

And Konzen trying to comfort Goku, and Goku being terrified of people leaving him, and then Kenren's promise with him, and the statement that maybe they'll all meet again under the cherry blossoms on earth!

Brain so dead.

Also, why has no one written fic on this? Why?

I swear, this LJ will return to coherency sometime in the near future, but right now, must find more! Why is it not licensed here?

Well, at least I now have company in desperately wanting to know what happens next. Want chapter 21 NOW.

The pinky fingers killed me too. (Again, I still get surprised by how quickly I latched onto Kenren in Gaiden.)

Oh man, those six pages or whatever at the front of Gaiden 1? Yum. Haven't read Gaiden 2 yet, but I imagine it'll be more of the same.

omg, I love saiyuki gaiden but I can never find the chapters! I'm still on chapter 18 and I desperately want to know what happens in chapters 19 and 20. do u mind tell me the link of where u found it? I would be extremely grateful.
