Spoil me and die slowly from fork wounds. A vague disclaimer is no one's friend.

Durka returns! Of course, this probably would have been more exciting if I knew who Durka were. Presumably, they may have introduced him earlier on, but since I watched the first half of Farscape during senior year of college, I don't remember much. Oh well. I'm not that tempted to go back and rewatch either, sorry.

The brain/behavior modification thing freaks me out.

I liked this better than a good deal of Farscape episodes that I've seen, but it still didn't knock me out of the water. It's really, really nitpicky, but the funny slo-mo action sequences just totally crack me up and drag me out of the suspense bit. And I still don't like Zhaan much. Chiana is slightly more interesting, although I am a bit tired of the bug-like female thing, even though it's not fair because Farscape did do it earlier than some other shows. I hope she did something really bad to be locked up like that, just because it would be interesting. Heh. I am cruel to the fictional worlds I adopt!

I am, alas, not much caught up by Rygel angst, even though I rather like Rygel. I like Rygel most when he's a scheming, self-serving bastard.

Want more Aeryn. Like Aeryn.

Am bored of torturers who talk waaaay too much and obviously have a megalomania issue. Am also bored of villains who have such high self-esteem that just insulting them with deter them from their plans.

I think I am not very attached to the characters right now, and as such, am not very interested in what happens to them. Well, except Aeryn. I like Aeryn. But we all sort of figured I would, ne? ;)

What they all said. The episode where the show really started to reveal the greatness it would become, and basically set off one of the series-spanning arcs is the two-parter, Nerve and The Hidden Memory, which are 1.19 and 1.20. IMO, S1 shows the show's evolution from good to great, S2 is a bit up and down in quality, from complete classics to forgettable throwaways, S3 is the show at the height of its brilliance, with the highest ratio of brilliant episodes, S4 is a little closer to the unevenness of S2, except the less-good ones are much better than the less-good of S2, and the miniseries was absolutely brill from start to finish.
