Angel 5x11 Damage (more thoughts)

oyceterAnd I'm just starting to read all the commentary on LJ and realizing just how cool and multilayered this episode was!
These are my little notes to myself on stuff that other people have pointed out, so unfortunately it does not mean I am brilliant.
- so many Faith parallels! How could I have missed the drugstore shot with Dana walking out in her new clothes with the two Faith in new clothes shots in 5x5 and This Year's Girl? How could I have missed all the Andrew and Wesley parallels in trying to capture a rogue Slayer? I think I kind of noted it briefly, especially with the tranq guns and the men in black when Angel caught Dana, but I never drew it so far as the Andrew/Wes parallels!
- Lies My Parents Told Me parallels! Scroll pointed out the taking back of the coat by a Slayer who had the memories of the Chinese Slayer and Nikki! And as such, FFL parallels!
- I'm sure there's tons more, but I have to go to sleep now...
