oyceterSpoilers there for Alias, Buffy and Angel, up to the latest airing (Alias S3, Angel S5, Buffy S7?). Dunno if it's necessary, but figure, cut anyway, might as well disclaim.
Are these for what I read? Or what I like? I'm going with what I like.
ALIAS:
One True Pairing Ship: don't really have one. It would have been Lauren/Vaughn because I really like Lauren, but I hate Vaughn. So he doesn't get Lauren. Neener ;).
Canon Ship: Jack/Irina, Sloane/Emily, Will/Francie, Sark/Allison
"If this happens I'll stab my eyes out with a spork" 'Ship: Sydney/Vaughn. I know. I think this is what happens when I watch shows without the internet. I form very unpopular fannish opinions. But then, fell in love with Buffy with S/B in FFL. Also, Sydney/Will. I HATE romance triangles with a passion.
"You are one sick bastard" 'Ship: Er. Probably anything incesty. Alias I actually ship uncanonically, which is pretty rare for me.
"I dabble a little" 'Ship: Syd/Sark, Syd/Dixon, Syd/Lauren, Lauren/Dixon (I think they have similar personalities), Sloane/Sydney, Sydney/Weiss.
"It's like a car crash" 'Ship: Obvious, I have very few squicks in this fandom.
"Tickles my fancy but not sold quite yet" 'Ship: See all the dabbling ships.
"Makes no canon sense but why the hell not" 'Ship: See all the dabbling ships.
"Everyone else loves it but I just don't feel it" 'Ship: Sydney/Vaughn. Sydney/Will.

One True Pairing Ship: Spike/Buffy
Canon Ship: Spike/Buffy, errr... ok, all of them. Except Buffy/Angel. Never quite got that. And Willow/Xander.

"When all is said and done" 'Ship: Spike/Buffy. Note, this is not why I don't grok Buffy/Angel. I think it's her being in high school and the older man thing. Dunno. Or, I just started watching late, so I was used to the idea that she had been in love, still loved, but was not ruled by that love.

Canon Ship: Wes/Lilah, Angel/Darla. Interstingly, Angel has very few canon ships I like. Liked Cordy/Angel in fic, but not in canon.

Sat, Dec. 13th, 2003 11:17 am (UTC)I'm not really into Syd/Vaughn. I'm not opposed to it, but I treat it as kind of inevitable and just accept it like a piece of background furniture. It's the OT ships that have potential in fic, though.
An I totally agree on the Wes/Fred sporking. Blech.

Sat, Dec. 13th, 2003 10:24 pm (UTC)Syd/Vaughn is probably one of the very few ships to which I am violently opposed -- not much of B/A shipper, but of a more "meh" type than a yick. I just got so pissed off at Vaughn when I found out he was STILL dating Alice then promptly broke up with her once Syd was available. Still don't like him because of that and because of his mooning over people who are not his wife.
