Buffy 7x16 Storyteller

Wow. I still love my show. Very much.

I also hope Andrew will be in the spinoff because I'm liking him more and more. Not that I disliked him before, but I love his complete dorkiness, complete with the stories of himself as a Mary-Sueish character, love the gayness, love the cowardliness.

General thoughts on Storyteller so far:
- Masterpiece Theater cracked me up. I'd just watched Shanghai Knights yesterday and was wondering why are we back in Victorian London?
- love Anya's "Why can't you just masturbate like normal people?"
- was it just me or did Anya look incredibly like Joyce on the sofa scenes?
- yay for some resolution between Anya and Xander
- the totally Harlequin romance of Spuffy. Hee.
- acknowledgement of bad Bufy speeches!
- really good Buffy speech at the end
- evil!Wood calling Buffy a whore and vengeful!Wood trying to stake Spike was very cool and scary. Like his "Thank you" at the end of First Date
- love how I couldn't tell if Xander and Anya were really over or just trying to convince themselves they were
- Spike is really back! "This won't kill 'em" as he punches one again for good measure

And probably lots more stuff I loved! Just.. this was a great episode, like Tabula Rasa... really funny, with a heartbreaker of an ending.Yay ME!
